These two are stepsisters. x3

The earth pony's name is Goldy Snips, and she's a manestyler and cutter. She usually wears her long mane in a braid to keep it out of the way, but she's always trying new hairstyles.

Thanks for all the suggestions for the cutie mark and name for the pegasus! The winner was ~iskellington with Tangerine Treat. I loved all the suggestions though! I wish I could all give you customs, but I'd be in way over my head.
So, the pegasus is Tangerine Treat, an aspiring baker and chef. Although her specialty is baked sweets, she is quite the connoisseur. Goldy and her both share a firey and stubborn personality. They usually get along pretty well, but sometimes they disagree on things.

(By the way, Goldy isn't a priss or anything like that. She's actually pretty cool, they're just having a little sibling tiff. x3)
